Its amazing how mapmaking has evolved over the years. from simple sketches to accurate maps and now computer generated interactive maps ! Wow! I haven’t tried Earth Outreach KML yet but I ’ll soon.

It is good to realize that a map is just a graphical representation of a set of data. With the old maps we had different kind of maps for different subsets: geographic, geological, weather, roads, etc. With tools like Google Earth we are now able to explore these datasets - and more - much better.

i have a version og google earth with me. and i am simply amazed by it and how accurate it is but this new thing is awesome and to good to be true
